Lismore Outdoor Adventure Expo 2026 Announced
Lismore Outdoor Adventure Expo 2026 will make its debut from 14–16 August 2026 at the Lismore Showgrounds, bringing a new large-scale regional event to the Northern Rivers calendar.
The three-day Lismore Outdoor Adventure plus Home & Lifestyle Expo is designed to combine outdoor recreation, home improvement, sustainable living and regional innovation under one roof. Organisers say the event aims to attract both local residents and visitors from across New South Wales and south-east Queensland.
The expo will be staged at the Lismore Showgrounds, centrally located within the regional city of Lismore, and is expected to feature exhibitors spanning camping, 4WD, caravanning, fishing, home renovation, interior styling and lifestyle products.
Supporting Local Business and Regional Tourism
Australian Events General Manager Aly Ryan said the new event has been created to support local enterprise and encourage visitation to the Northern Rivers region.
“Lismore is a strong and community-minded place, and this event brings together everything from outdoor adventure and camping to home styling and renovation,” Ms Ryan said.
“We’re looking forward to putting on an event that locals can enjoy and visitors will want to come and see.”
Organisers expect the expo to generate increased foot traffic for local accommodation providers, cafes, retailers and tourism operators during the mid-August period, traditionally a quieter time between winter and spring peak travel.
What Visitors Can Expect
Outdoor & Adventure
The outdoor component will showcase camping gear, caravans, 4WD equipment, fishing products and adventure technology. Live demonstrations are planned across the weekend, offering visitors the chance to see equipment in action and speak directly with suppliers and industry specialists.
The event is expected to appeal to families, grey nomads, off-road enthusiasts and those exploring recreational travel options.
Home & Lifestyle
Alongside outdoor exhibits, the Home & Lifestyle section will feature renovation services, interior styling, furniture, appliances and sustainable living solutions. Exhibitors will include businesses focused on energy efficiency, smart home systems and regional design trends.
This dual-format approach positions the event as more than a traditional caravan and camping show, expanding its reach to homeowners and renovators across the Northern Rivers.
Entertainment and Attractions
Entertainment is also scheduled throughout the three days. Organisers have flagged live action displays, crowd favourites and interactive attractions designed to keep visitors engaged. While the full program is yet to be released, family-friendly activities are expected to be a central feature.

Businesses from across NSW and Queensland are currently invited to secure exhibitor space, with organisers confirming that availability is limited.
