Lismore’s much-loved Carols in the Heart is set to return in spectacular style on Saturday, 6 December. Acclaimed performer and proud local Rachael Beck will headline an evening of festive music, community celebration, and family fun at Crozier Field.
Gates open at 3pm, with a vibrant program of performances, food, and entertainment planned for all ages. After overwhelming community feedback, this year’s event has moved to a Saturday evening. This change makes it easier for families to come together and celebrate the Christmas season under the stars.
The return of Carols in the Heart follows last year’s cancellation due to severe weather. Anticipation is high for its long-awaited comeback.
A night of music and celebration
Lismore City Mayor Steve Krieg said the event continues to hold a special place in the hearts of residents.
“Carols in the Heart is a chance for our community to come together and celebrate this special time of year with our friends and families. It’s an evening filled with music and Christmas cheer. It serves as a reminder of what makes our city such a wonderful place to live,” he said.
Returning home for the headline performance, Rachael Beck said she was thrilled to once again share the stage in her hometown.
“I am so excited to be coming back to my hometown of Lismore and entertaining you with the cream of local talent. My heart will always belong to the Northern Rivers, and Christmas means so much to me. It’s great to be home celebrating it with you all,” she said.
Beck will be joined by a stellar line-up of local and national artists. These include Rhydian and the Residuals, Bunny Racket, Isabella A Capella, Luke Vasella, and Hillbilly Skank. The evening will conclude with a breathtaking laser light show, illuminating the night sky in festive colour and wonder.
A wide selection of food vendors will also be on-site, offering everything from festive treats to family favourites.
