Potential new case on the Northern Rivers

The 11am daily press conference has provided an update on the recent reason for calling a snap 7 day lockout on the Northern Rivers.
The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian stated that a new potential case, unlinked to the visitor to Byron Bay, is being investigated by NSW Health.
The Health Minister Brad Hazzard would not be led into commenting on questions regarding the movements of the man and his teenage boys.
“I do not want to prejudice what police are working on,” he said.

“When police are undertaking investigations, they should be allowed to undertake investigations.”
The NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant confirmed the visitor to Byron Bay’s two children have also tested positive to the virus.
