COALITION OUTLINES PLAN To Restore Living Standards

Tax relief, housing and regional support headline new policy push

Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan says the Coalition has released a new policy package aimed at improving living standards and supporting Australian families through tax reform, housing measures and regional investment initiatives.

The package outlines seven proposed measures, including a Tax Back Guarantee that would index income tax thresholds to inflation and a migration policy tied to housing construction levels.

The Coalition also proposes increased support for small businesses through immediate tax write-offs of assets up to $50,000 and the creation of a Future Generations Fund aimed at debt reduction and infrastructure investment.

Additional measures include a fuel security strategy, national security investment commitments and proposed welfare eligibility reforms.

Kevin Hogan said the plan aims to help Australians keep more of what they earn while supporting long-term economic security.

The policy announcement adds to growing national debate around cost-of-living pressures and economic priorities affecting regional and metropolitan communities alike.
