The cow market also attracted strong buyer interest.
Tammye Conroy, Bryden, topped the cow section with Charolais-cross cows selling for $2,310, narrowly ahead of Tracy and Yvonne Clark, Biddaddaba, whose Limousin-cross cows reached $2,300. Jon Stiller and Co sold Limousin cows for $2,290, while CR Bird Pty Ltd, Guanaba, received $1,800 for Charolais cows. Logan River Lucerne sold medium-frame cows for $1,530.

Bartholomew and Co said the stronger market reflected continuing confidence from both feeder and restocker buyers, particularly for quality young cattle.
The next Beaudesert Store Sale will be held on Saturday, 18 July, commencing at 9.30am.
