CCTV images released as inquiries continue into armed robbery – Wollongong

 

Police have released CCTV images as they investigate an armed robbery in Wollongong, the Illawarra, last month.

About 7.15am on (Sunday 25 February 2024), police were called to a service station in Gipps Road, Keiraville, following reports a man armed with a machete threatened a staff member, before leaving with cigarettes.

Officers attached to Wollongong Police District attended and established a crime scene.

Following inquiries, police have released CCTV images of a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm-185cm tall, medium build, wearing a black jumper with a small white tick on the top left, black pants and black gloves. He was wearing a black and white ‘Dickies’-brand scarf over his head and face and carrying a tanned skateboard with a black underside, black trucks and green wheels.
