Naomi Worrall – Kyogle meet your candidates
By Samantha Elley
The Northern Rivers Times has asked all of the candidates for the September 14 local government elections to introduce themselves to voters identify the issues they want to address and policies they would pursue if elected.
Naomi Worrall (A Ward)
Over the last two decades I have worked in social housing from front line services to working with state government bodies to implement reforms and community sector industrial relations. In recent years, I have been building and rebuilding a small business combining my lifelong passions of baking and growing flowers.
In addition, I have many years of experience of volunteering in community organisations in governance roles.
While surviving the Lismore 2022 floods gave me an even greater understanding of the need to ensure government services are both efficient and accessible, it also gave me an opportunity to return to the area I made home in 1986 where I raised my children. I love Kyogle and would be honoured to serve it.
