Launch of the Reuse and Repair Trail

Launch of the Reuse and Repair Trail
This Saturday, 15 October is International Repair Day. As part of this event, Lismore City Council, in partnership with North East Waste, will be launching a new online directory called The Reuse and Repair Trail.
The trail celebrates the brilliant community repair groups and businesses that are the heart of the repair and reuse movement.
“Council recognises this as an opportunity to create a unique business directory to highlight businesses and groups that provide a repair, reuse, or restore service,” said Lismore City Council General Manager John Walker.
The directory will be easily accessible, giving residents the options of where they can go to get something fixed, or to pick up something second-hand. It will feature an online regional map promoting the reuse and repair businesses found in the area.
The Reuse and Repair Trail is currently open for reuse and repair businesses to register their service. To register go to www.newaste.org.au/rrt.
