Byron Writers Festival 2022 relocates back to Elements of Byron for another year.
The 2022 Byron Writers Festival (Aug 26-28) will no longer be taking place at North Byron Parklands and will take place on the grounds adjacent to Elements of Byron, who have generously hosted the festival for many years.
“In the wake of recent weather events and after consultation with North Byron Parklands, it was agreed that Byron Writers Festival 2022 will relocate to Elements of Byron, who have generously offered to host the festival on the grounds adjacent to the resort for another year” said Zoe Pollock, Byron Writers Festival Artistic Director.
“We are very grateful to Elements of Byron, and to Byron Shire Council for expediting this change of site for Byron Writers Festival.”
“We are looking forward to welcoming our guests and patrons back to the 2022 Byron Writers Festival after a two-year hiatus to celebrate the power of stories to connect us.”
The festival will take place in five marquees on the grounds adjacent to Elements of Byron. The site change does not affect the festival program or the validity of tickets already purchased.
Held on the lands of the Arakwal Bumberbin of the Bundjalung Nation, we pay respect to the traditional owners of these lands and acknowledge them as the original storytellers of this region.
