Brunswick Heads Markets to Host Emergency Services Showcase on April 6

Join us at the upcoming Brunswick Heads Markets in Banner Park on Saturday, April 6, as we showcase the vital work of our local emergency services from 9am to 2pm.
In a recent media release, Byron Shire Council highlighted the significance of the “Emergency Services Community Connect” event. This unique opportunity allows the community to engage with local emergency response members and gain insights into the equipment utilized during emergencies.
Sarah Boulle, the Recovery Coordinator at Byron Shire Council, emphasized the event’s focus on fostering community resilience and preparedness. “This event offers a platform for the community to come together and acquaint themselves with our local emergency services,” she remarked, inviting attendees to ask questions and learn about operational procedures.
Expect an impressive display of vehicles and equipment, including jet skis and fire trucks, alongside engaging demonstrations throughout the day. It’s an event for the entire family to enjoy and learn from.
Organized by Marine Rescue, with the collaboration of other emergency service organizations, the event is a testament to the dedication of our community’s volunteers. “We extend our gratitude to these organizations and their volunteers for their invaluable service,” Sarah Boulle acknowledged. “Let’s come together and show our support for their unwavering commitment.”
